About American Power Binder

American Power Binder is a new type of chain binder in an old market. It boasts many advantages over its competitors, primarily being ratchet binders and lever binders. It is 20% lighter, has a 20% longer binding stroke, and is 200% faster than the leading chain binders making it much more efficient, easier to use, and greatly reducing the risk of injury during use.

One of the most important tests performed on each binder is applying half of the minimum breaking load to every binder. At American Power Binder, we test 100% of our finished products to ensure that in the event of an accident, all the American Power Binders will greatly exceed their rated Working Load Limit (WLL).

American Power Binders meet all the requirements set forth by the DOT cargo securement standards.

What is required to operate an American Power Binder?

Our product can be operated with most any cordless impact driver, not to exceed 2,000 in-lbs of torque with a 7/8” socket. NOT FOR USE WITH CORDLESS DRILLS AS SUDDEN STOPS MAY CAUSE INJURY.

American Power Binders were developed by the owner of our company. After many years of using ratchet binders and lever binders to secure loads, our owner thought that there has to be a better way. Through intense design work, engineering, fabrication, and testing, the American Power Binder was created. American Power Binder is currently “patent pending”.
